Our vision is to partner with parents and caregivers through equipped and empowered volunteers as their children take steps to fully follow Jesus.
Our goal each Sunday is to make our spaces safe and secure, to share Jesus with passion, and to bring fun because we have a lot to celebrate.

LOCAL KIDS ON SUNDAYS
What to Expect
- Full Kids programming (Infant–5th grade) at 8:15, 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. services.
- Use the Local Kids Check-In Computers to print a name tag for all children infant through 5th grade.
- Make sure you grab the parent pick-up sticker when their name tag prints. Hold on to that and be prepared to show it for pick up.
- Drop your child off inside the age or grade-specific room that prints on their name tag. You'll pick up there, too.
- Encourage them to bring their Bible every Sunday. We use them regularly! Tip: We use the NIRV Translation; the "R" stands for "Reader."
- All young children, up to pre-kindergarten age, receive snacks. Gluten-free options are available. Infants will be fed as desired by their parents.
- We encourage all parents to change their child's diaper and/or take them to the restroom before dropping them off in their classroom.
- Let them bring their energy. All ages will sing & move for worship!
Good to Know
- Please keep your phone on silent but accessible. We'll use your cell number to reach you if needed.
- Our sensory room is in the works! While we don't have a dedicated and consistently staffed sensory space yet, we're actively working towards creating a nurturing environment for all children. If you would like to discuss individual accommodations, please contact Rachel Hipp at [email protected].
- All volunteers are screened with background checks.
- All Kids' rooms have security cameras in use.
- Our bathrooms in the kid's space are children-only.
- Our Coded Tag System helps keep kids safe during pick-up. You must bring your matching pick-up sticker to check out your child.
- We have a dedicated on-site (including out-of-sight) security team.

The Bible App for Kids
Explore the Bible through interactive stories that are perfect for preschoolers! It’s fun, free, and a great way to help your child fall in love with God’s Word. And the same Bible stories and videos used in our Bible Adventure lessons on Sundays are available in the app, so your kids can revisit what they learned at church anytime during the week!

Looking to Offer Your Time to Local Kids?
Volunteers in Local Kids serve as small group leaders, production crew, and large group leaders and even help welcome kids in the doors on Sunday mornings with a smile.
